Penn State is 51-13 (79.7) since the start of the 2005 season, tied for the nation’s No. 7 winning percentage over that span, under Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno. The Nittany Lions return 36 letterwinners for this season, including 13 starters, as well as 10 players that have starting experience. NEWS:
Microsoft’s Kin phone is already dead. http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2010/06/four-reasons-why-microsofts-kin-phone-failed/
LISTENER QUESTION: Josh Dez asks from Japan: “I have installed Open Office because I listen to your podcast. How to I have Open Office over-ride (be default) Microsoft Office?”
In Windows: Go to “default programs” (start button, then type in “Default” and select “Default Programs.”) click on OpenOffice. When OO shows up on the right side, click on it, then select the extensions you want associated with Open Office.
In Mac: To change what program opens a specific file, you first need to open the file’s information window. This can be done by selecting the file and clicking “Get Info” from the File menu. Or you can simply right-click (Control-click for single button mouse users) on the file and select “Get Info” from the contextual menu that pops up. You can then select an application from the OPEN WITH dropdown menu. If you want to make the selected application the default application for the given file type, just use the CHANGE ALL option.

Use of Flash: Using the flash in your photographs can do more than simply brighten the image. In some cases, with a “fill flash” it will leave the background visible while highlighting the subject. In other cases, it will darken the background letting the subject “Pop” out of the image.
To see samples of the use of flash, in comparison to not using a flash, check out our Flickr group: http://flickr.com/groups/rtfrp
